Dynamo cabinets were generic "factory conversion" kit game homes of the standard type in the late '80s and '90s. Operators would insert PCBs for hit arcade titles—Double Dragon II, Ikari Warriors I–III, Victory Road, Guerrilla War, P.O.W., Strider, Forgotten Worlds, Final Fight, UN Squadron, Street Fighter I & II (with Champion Edition), and even Capcom CPS-2 titles like Ghouls 'n Ghosts or Mercs—into one standardized cabinet, then add the appropriate art and marquee for the game
The vertical Dynamo cabinet itself is a sleek, heavy-gauge box with black T-molding and an exchangeable screen bezel. There is a backlit marquee space to hold printed overlays, and side panels usually get decorated with generic Dynamo logos or artwork matching the installed game. Tilt-down control panel is mounted in a flat position in front of the screen and usually fits two player-1/2 configurations—six or eight action buttons with bat-top or ball-top joysticks—under a corresponding bezel. The single mono speaker, hidden behind a perforated grill, provides all the sound.
These mimic the original arcade machine aside from the use of modern components like LCD screen (no more screen burn) and modern coin mechs. We can customise them to run any denomination or even have tokens made should you require them. These machines are built to last and pull in the punters :)
