Another Happy Customer!

Hello all, for this week’s blog we’re focusing one one of our arcade machines which was delivered to one of our esteemed clients.He is a modder of great repute- David Penfold. He took a great interest in the entire project and after seeing his modding efforts, we knew he would be particular.

He wanted the arcade machine of his dreams, which is where we came in. He could have made his own machine, but to get an artisan and exacting job done- there was only one team which could bring his vision to reality.

We were given a strict brief- an Apex arcade machine with mirror finish and blue accents (via the illuminated buttons and reject button).

We also had the Happ/Suzo coin door powder coated to match the flawless white finish which was also sprayed perfectly (even when powder coating is an imprecise art, we only use the best craftsmen).

We feel we have achieved the perfect colour balance via the addition of the black speaker grilles and optical light gun sensor, whilst powder coating a USB 3.0 bank white (to the right of the coin door) in order to retain the colour scheme and keep the non-arcade elements discreet.

Extra room for the wrists were requested also, so we moved each player’s Start buttons to the panel above and shifted the controls up to accommodate David’s request.

Custom lighting was also applied along with a screen printed acrylic marquee. The “Tron” style text was intended to mimic neon. We’re delighted to say, the graphic looks absolutely incredible.

David’s frontend of choice is Hyperspin, which is a work of art. The interface feels so alive, it’s great fun just to browse through the games and see each theme come alive.

Our arcade machines can be made to suit any decor or particular taste. When a Bespoke Arcades machine is built, exacting attention is paid to every conceivable aspect of the cabinet. When every Bespoke Arcade machine is unwrapped, we like to ensure our clients’ jaws drop at the first sight of their brand new arcade machine.

Arcade machines no longer have to be garish and intrusive in a home environment.

We consider ours to be not only elegant, befitting the casual gamer, but also of commercial grade quality and like David is for the hardcore arcade aficionado alike.
