The Nu-Gen Play is perfect for those of you who just want to play a range of retro classics from the arcade and older console era. With one of these superb game-only arcade machines, you can look forward to enjoying a whole host of arcade and retro classics in the luxury of your own home/office. With access to over 10,000 of the best classic arcade games, the Nu-Gen Play now also comes with game loading possibilities - once purchased it can be made to run 1000’s more classic game titles from the arcade and older 8/16 bit consoles such as the NES, SNES and Megadrive.
The Nu-Gen arcade cabinet also allows clients the option to combine the wonderful memories of favourite arcade games with the power and grit of next generation game play. All clients are given the option of connecting their PS3/360/ONE console to their Nu-Gen system to play all next generation coin-op titles via the screen AND joystick/buttons. The Nu-Gen’s unrivalled PS3/360/ONE controls option has been specifically designed for the current/future generation of coin-op fighting games although all next generation titles can also be played via the screen along with your own PS/XBOX pad.
All Nu-Gen Play arcade machines are made to order by hand at our UK workshop and are fully customisable so you can go all out to design the cabinet of your dreams. Whilst the Nu-Gen Play really looks the part, it’s also been made extremely simple to use – plug in and play, loading directly into your game selection menu with a one button on/off switch. The Nu-Gen Play has a huge 32” HD widescreen giving you amazing quality gaming - the true pinnacle in home arcade machines. The gigantic 2-player control panel gives you full 2-player gaming and provides the greatest playability currently available in any custom arcade machine. Now, it’s simply up to you to choose between going it alone, joining forces to defeat the eternal foe and taking each other on in combat to the death!
The Nu-Gen Play also benefits from a top 2.1 speaker system delivering crisp sound along with great bass and volume can be adjusted via the wired remote placed at the back of the cabinet.
Nu-Gen Play Options
Whilst the Nu-Gen Play comes with access to over 800 of the best arcade games, it is possible to add 1000’s more via the USB ports on your machine. The Nu-Gen Play is fully compatible with the arcade emulator MAME so you can set up your machine to have pretty much every retro arcade game ever made. As well as this, your Nu-Gen Play machine can be made to run some older console emulators which include ATARI 2600, NEO GEO, PC Engine, Sega Master System and Megadrive as well as Nintendo NES and SNES.
Once home, the supplier can provide full instructions on how to get your machine running all of these extra games in a few very simple steps. Once set up, Play machines can be made to run over 10,000 games that include games from the internet and all of the console systems as mentioned above.
Custom Arcade Finish
All Nu-Gen arcade machines come hand-finished in black or white finish as standard although the finish can be upgraded to almost any colour or wood veneer as you would prefer for an additional charge. The machine can also be hand-finished in a number of specialist finishes such as a super high-gloss quad polish or metallic finish that really adds a special custom touch to your machine.
All Nu-Gen machines can have a range of custom graphics options so you can get your machine exactly as you wish. You can have a custom graphic under the glass screen graphic if you have a favourite game or would like a personal message. We can also provide full custom side graphics if you have a custom design in mind as well as control panel and front graphics as you so choose.
Arcade Joysticks
With all Bespoke Arcades machines you have the choice of any available joysticks – whether you prefer the traditional American-style bat type joystick or the Japanese-Style Sanwa ball top joysticks you can get exactly what you prefer for no extra cost. Choose from a range of colours and styles to make up your dream machine exactly as you imagined.
Arcade Buttons
With these arcades, you can choose traditional concave arcade buttons in many colours (black, white, blue, red, green, orange, purple or yellow) or Sanwa flat buttons in many colours for no extra cost. You can also choose to upgrade to basic illuminated buttons (white, blue or red) or go for the super high-quality colour changing buttons if wanting to go for something really special.
Arcade Trackball
If wanting to play classics such as Missile Command, Centipede, Millipede and many more in the way that you used to play them then you may well be interested in a fitted trackball for your Nu-Gen machine. This great addition can be plugged in via the USB ports as well as used on any compatible device to play all the best trackball games.
Arcade Light Gun
If you’re partial to a good light gun game then we can provide either one or a pair of arcade light guns which can be added to your system. This includes full installation and set-up so all you have to do is plug them in and prepare to take aim.
Arcade Spinner
If you are a fan of breakout games such as Arkanoid or your favourite game ran via a spinner then we can add one to your control panel so you can have the authentic feel that you remember.
Play the latest Consoles
All machines can be configured to be compatible with the latest consoles such as PS5 and XBOX Series X. Once configured, you can run your next-gen console via the screen and controls on your arcade cabinet – an unrivalled feature that allows you to combine the retro with the more modern if this takes your fancy.
Add Original Pads
We can provide original console pads and USB adapters so that you can enjoy all your favourite older console games in the way that you used to on top of all your favourite arcade games. We can supply console pads and adapters for most of the older consoles so please don’t hesitate to ask when placing your order.
Arcade Stools
We can suggest or supply a range of low stools to complement your Nu-Gen arcade cabinet so please don’t hesitate to ask if you would like to get some stools for added comfort when playing on your new arcade machine.
Additional Information
The Nu-Gen arcade cabinet comes in 3 different editions: the Nu-Gen Play for classic arcade/console game play, the Nu-Gen Media for mass game-loading and multimedia functionality and the Nu-Gen Elite for those that are only interested in the best of the best.
Please note- all games are stored online via DMCA approved sites. As soon as you turn on your machine you can effortlessly enter your network's wifi details and a personal licence unique to your machine will automatically be activated.
To adhere to licensing laws any game you play will automatically be deleted once it starts up but you have a handy feature to batch download any systems you like to permanently store titles (once a disclaimer is ticked).
